Join us at The Candlelight Inn for a Burns Night celebration on Friday 23rd January 2026, marking our first Burns Night since reopening The Candlelight. Expect a relaxed and convivial evening filled with music, good cheer, and a touch of Scottish tradition.
A special Burns Night menu will be available for the occasion, with 30 places only. Advance booking is required for guests wishing to dine from this menu.
*The pub will be open as usual throughout the evening, and guests not booked for the Burns Night supper are very welcome to join us and enjoy our regular dinner menu.
What to Expect
This will be a small, intimate dining experience for just 30 guests, with:
• A specially created Burns Night menu from our kitchen
• A traditional bagpiper to greet you and “pipe in” the haggis
• The famous Address to a Haggis
• Warm hospitality, good company and a dram (or two) of Scottish spirit
Kilts are optional… but very much encouraged! We'd love you to join us for what promises to be a truly memorable evening.
