The Candlelight Inn is being lovingly revived by the team behind the multi award-winning Cotley Inn.
Maddie and Ben are bringing their trademark warmth, locally sourced food, and community spirit back to Bishopswood the place where their story together first began.
Festive Sample Menu
We’re starting off the festive season with a smaller, handpicked menu, a little taste of what’s to come! Each dish has been chosen to show off our style and make sure every plate that leaves the kitchen is full of care and flavour.
From January 14th, we’ll be rolling out our full menu, packed with hearty British pub classics, tasty daily specials, and fresh seafood. We can’t wait to share it all with you!

Wreath making workshop with Hannah at Ottilies Flowers.
Spaces are limited and so please book early to avoid disappointment. The workshop includes: Welcome Mulled Cider and all the materials needed to make a beautiful Christmas wreath, you will then be served a delicious sharing Charcuterie & Cheese board whilst admiring your wreath.

Join us for our first Candlelight carols night. Belt your favourite classics under the stars and join us in sharing the warmth and buzz that this festive time of year creates.
Friends of The Candlelight will lead us through some festive favourites, making sure we have time for some requests at the end! Enjoy a mulled wine and a mince pie next to the fire or stay for supper in the restaurant and make an evening of it!
